"teach the controversy" = "all theories deserve equal time, regardless of their performance" = "socialism"

(7,639 posts)....it is all about purposeful selection, natural selection, evolution over the billions of years; very well explained for anyone to understand. What he doesn't have an answer for, he does not make suppositions about, challenges the future scientists to explore and discover answers. Excellent, I think. This should be shown in every classroom in the country. Hope lots of young people are watching this. Their denialist elders are lost.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
