14 dead, 108 missing in Washington state landslide
http://www.cnn.com/2014/03/24/us/washington-landslide/index.html?hpt=hp_t2
And I still haven't heard anyone mention this on MSNBC this afternoon/evening.
Has CNN been talking about the disaster/deaths on TV?
--------------
UPDATE
OSO, Wash.
Search and rescue crews have located an additional six bodies, bringing the total number of those killed in the massive landslide near Oso to 14.
In addition, during a Monday evening news conference officials said they have received 176 reports of missing people after Saturday's deadly slide, which is an increase from 108 said earlier in the day.

I think I cried when I read about the man finding his front door, just his front door, but not his house or his family.

(31,204 posts)11. I just found out
that our friends daughter's family had passed through the landslide area about 10 minutes before. Scary.
I remember in the mid 80s, a bridge on I 95 collapsed in Connecticut......I had just gone over it a couple of minutes earlier. Kind of scary

(31,204 posts)12. Lawrence reported
176 missing or unaccounted for. 14 dead. The unaccounted numbers could go down as everyone compares lists
