But but but...this Law is PARADOXICAL...

So this guy Zimmerman got in into his head that this poor kid was a threat to him, so he took it upon himself to chase him down and shoot him, because he felt threatened by the kid's presence. Okay, so far so good, right, RWers? Okay Okay...

So NOW, Zimmerman is walking down the street and there a person of color walking towards him, recognizes him from the many pics on TeeVee, rrealizes that if Zimmerman sees him, that he might once again feel threatened, pull his gun which he inexplicably still posssesses. So this person of color, realizing this, pulls his weapon, legally registered, and shoots Zimmerman where he stands.

This is going to give rise to a LITERAL Circular Firing Squad.

How is it that so many people in Florida looked at this law and said annabanana Mar 2012 #1

Contrary to the version popularized on the internet, and like every other self defense law ever, the Florida law requires that you be at imminent risk of death or severe bodily harm. There is nothing about "feeling threatened."

If I were black and saw Zimmerman, given what I know, I would think that I were in immiment risk of death or severe bodily harm, not from what I learned on the Intertubes, but from listening to the 911 calls.

Therefore this law is subjective. That is why it is bad law.

If someone who is armed with a lethal weapon can kill someone else who does not posses a lethal weapon on a public street simply because he feels threatened, it is a bad law.
