50+ times to re-authorize unemployment benefits for those who have been out of work for extended periods?
Or 50+ times to raise the minimum wage to $10.10 or better?
I'd be happy if the Democrats would force the Republicans in the House to vote over and over and over on really NEEDED things rather than trying to take good stuff away from the American people!

Of course, every time that happens I donate more money to Gwen Graham, who is running against him, so maybe that's not a bad thing.
I need to start volunteering for her campaign!

(34,136 posts)The only person who I consider represents me in Congress, Bill Nelson. Marco Rubio, the other Florida senator, and Steve Southerland, the tea party jerk in the House who stands for my district, don't represent anything I believe in. It's not worth the electricity to call them to complain - and Southerland seems to give lists of his constituents to right wing groups since right after I call him I get calls from things like the Faith & Freedom Foundation.
