How Many People Live with Internal Conflicts?

Take this Republican, for example:

"Okay a little nervous and here and maybe even terrified, but here goes. I hope this does not offend anyone in any way as it is not meant to. I am a 40 something year old guy who occasionally likes to cross dress. I do not want to be a woman or live as a woman. I just like sexy things and have been searching forever to find a woman who may be able to be a friend and help me out. I figured I would try being open and honest up front so as to not cause any confusion and upset anyone who may have been mislead at the start. It has not been working well at all, but I figured honesty was a good place to start.

So I am wondering if you may be interested in sharing some tips or advice on fashion, make-up, or whatever helps me look more like a woman when dressed and less like a man. I know this sounds off, but I am horrible at fashion and was also hoping to find someone to help me shop for age appropriate clothing."

So... is this person better off as a Republican? I know that the knee-jerkers will see the part about 'cross-dressing' and void themselves of their higher reasoning in favor of sanctimonious indignation utterly irrelevant to the point of this post. For some, intelligent discussion holds no advantage over artificial indignation.

But seriously... is this PERSON better off as a Republican?

You have now posted this FOUR times on DU; completely ignoring a jury's
decision to hide it, self deleting it and finally hitting not one, but two juries
who have allowed it to stand with 3-3 votes.

So the new technique is, keep posting the same thing over and over until
you hit on a jury who allows it to stand?

Not much use for a jury system then, is there?

is garbage.

I'm glad we're in agreement on one tiny facet.

So, You think it's rational for a cross-dresser to be a Republican despite being anathema to his own ideology?

That I told someone who was adversarial to my point about Republican hypocrites being cross-dressers where to contribute in such a way that there might be an actual discussion?

Ohhh! The HORROR!

Grow up please. Or alert on me as per kindergarten playground rules.

PEOPLE, people who have been empowered by the jury system to reject or accept behaviour, as opposed to people who say "I do not care what anyone says, I am gonna do what I want.." which is really the standard motive behind the folks on the oher side of the aisle.

This post has history-
Once self deleted
Once hidden by a jury
and then reposted not once, but twice by the op,
who chose to completely IGNORE the jury decision to hide.

I don't think "naughty" is a strong enough adjective to describe
the behavior.

Tell me, what good is a jury system if the OP simply reposts
hidden content over and over?

BHN (she btw, does have the number of this act, as do others.)

I am not challenging the veracity of your complaint and I was talking with the alleged offender. The thread is visible and apparently not as yet adjudicated at present. So IBL.

I don't see what the other stuff has to do with his being a Republican. Unless you are implying that only Democrats are cross-dressers? I hope my TOS alert on this dog's breakfast of a post gets seen.

At Mon Mar 26, 2012, 10:26 PM an alert was sent on the following post:

A jury system that fails to compell anyone to be objective,

You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Mon Mar 26, 2012, 10:41 PM, and the Jury voted 1-5 to LEAVE IT.

Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: No explanation given
Juror #2 voted to HIDE IT and said: I don't know what is going on here, but that OP is demented and the Doctor seems to be whining about DU. If he's pissed, it should go in Meta, not here.
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: He called the jury system garbage, not anyone in particular. You on the other hand directly called him a piece of shit.
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: No explanation given
Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: No explanation given
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: No explanation given

Thank you very much for participating in our Jury system, and we hope you will be able to participate again in the future.

I'm #2. I did a TOS on the OP after that jury went 1-5.
