Every time I ask a republican why they feel Democrats are ruining their country..

I don’t give a chance for them to answer.. I quickly tell them why ..".Its because you feel that the Democrats give money away to poor Blacks and other minorities which enables them to stay in their ruts and Dems. do this for their votes” ... They respond “Well, thats part of it”....but...You know, they never ever seem to get their thoughts straight on the Other Part.. Thats because there is no other part..

And there it is folks... The Cliff Note Version Of Why Republicans Hate Democrats..

When I explain that many of "his policies" originated with conservatives, they stare blankly or fumble for words. When I offer the opinion that maybe the real reason people don't like Obama's conservative-inspired policies is because he's black, they assure me they're not racists themselves, and racism isn't the reason why they don't like his policies...but they never seem able to provide a cogent reason why they "don't like his policies."

the RW echo chamber regurgitates that daily. It's now become a reinforcing mantra that reality can't penetrate.

I think there was also a segment on the left who hoped he'd be more radical because he was black and they're disappointed that he's a mainstream Dem.

While I agree with them that there's a lot of abuse of the system that needs to be fixed, they also seem to have a blatant disdain for hourly wage earners. To them, minimum wage is far too much. So even when the unemployed do find menial work, chances are it's not going to pay enough to get by on. It's not the Democrats who want to keep people down. Keeping unemployment high and wages down as a result benefits them, not us.

USA is probably the worst nation on the planet.
The most Communist = think central power - NSA,HLS,TSA,CIA -militarization of our police force.
The most Socialist - we propped up the banks and wall street with 14 Trillion dollars of interest free money (700 billion was authorized) - you hear very little about this.
The most Fascist - the complete merger of corporate and political interest and the news media.

Agency had funds enough to have an adequate staff level. Almost all of the Regulatory agencies are starved for employees as well. Since the corporate "Entitlements" amount to much more money than Food Stamps, Unemployment and much more, we could use that money to fund a turn around in the fortunes of everyone. If corporations had to pay a fair amount of taxes (much higher than now), we could easily afford increases which are badly needed. Cutting our bloated military and using the savings for Education, infrastructure, and Green Energy development, including a new power grid.
I know in reality that none of this will happen under current conditions. We need to pass Publicly Funded Elections and do REAL Campaign Finance Reform. This needs to be our only focus until it is accomplished. That should return a more Representative Democracy that would then be able to pass the things needed to fix our country and Democracy!

Right Wingers believe the purpose of the military is to keep the rest of the world down. It's the whole "Master / Slave" thing. Any country messes with us and we figuratively stake them and whip them in full view of the others to show what happens when you forget your place.

Then there's the whole "bomb them back into the stone age" line that comes from those who really believe the white man invented civilization and it's a gift that can be taken away.

Just stare at them, when they blame it on Obama...whatever it is, because let's face it they always blame it on the POTUS. Could be a cat in a tree or a bird pooped on their new car.

No need for rational thought on this...republicans brains really only alternate between sex and hate and fear. Sometimes lots of booze and sometimes binge drinking in Foxnews with some scotch and viagra.

You don't need cliff notes on the GOP...just look at your slobbering uncle that always gets drunk at family get togethers and pees in the fake plant down the hallway.

Then thankfully passes out.

when some silly git would be droning on about family values by asking him what those values were. They'd get that blank deer-in-the-headlights stare every time. They'd end up spluttering "well, if you don't know, I can't help you!" to which I'd drily remark they obviously didn't know, either.

Rank and file Republicans are not deep thinkers. They are bumper sticker thinkers, good at slogans but very bad at discussing what those slogans might mean.
