15. It's not a Democratically elected Government. All the power is vested in the Supreme Leader.

The President is a puppet of the Supreme Leader. As long as the President goes along with everything the Supreme Leader wants, it appears as if the President is in charge. The Supreme Leader can remove the President or have them arrested at will for disobedience.
