(154,021 posts)Record the meeting, take notes of the meeting, Facebook the fact you are at the meeting, FB and twitter if they actually make news, and shoot manual? No, cannot do all that. I barely do the rest, and I thank the gods for that recorder... or I would only be able to take notes.

Serious, I am on a first name basis with the floor manager. He has two kids, we have two birds, we laugh.
Ok, when we had the Filner scandal we even had NATIONAL press from as far as New York show up in this culdesac, and get most of it wrong.

(20,996 posts)I'm not good with black & white. Not so good at photographing plants either for that matter, so I didn't submit an entry. Now that I see the competition, it's just as well.
Nicely done!

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
