Will the American public buy the New Cold War with Russia?

Last summer, the American people prevented Washington from becoming more directly involved in the war in Syria.

Now Washington seems to think they can crank up a new Cold War with Russia over this business with Ukraine.

Are they American people going to buy it?

At least not on the part of the official administration. As President Obama made very clear in the speech he delivered to the entire world in Brussels last month:

“Understand as well, this is not another Cold War that we’re entering into. After all, unlike the Soviet Union, Russia leads no bloc of nations, no global ideology. Nor does the United States, or NATO, seek any conflict with Russia.”

So the only suggestion being made that there is a new cold war (besides the ramblings of mischievous Republicans), exists in this poll. When did you stop beating your wife?

Russia, says Obama, has no Global Ideology.

Is he saying the US does have a global ideology? Maybe the Obama experts can chime in here? YES, or no?

And then there are the warmongers of indie and dem stripes.

Of course we spend just 700 billion$ every year to make sure when we go hot, we'll hit the spot. It is pretty much the interest of every living thing on this little blue ball spinning in space that we ......... be careful. Obama knows this.

So, the american people are the ones who talked Russia into talking Assad into negotiating destruction of their gas? The threat of cruise missles (no "boots on the ground&quot had nothing to do with it?
