They werent 100% white, some smoked weed, they were unarmed and they called for various changes like stopping foreclosures on families and holding banks accountable.

You can't even get FBI or Homeland Security to make a statement on Bundy ranch (a rich white land moocher) but they were all over occupy

Predictable and Boring.

Lets take a look:

"Drawing on classified FBI and Homeland Security documents obtained by the Partnership for Civil Justice through the Freedom of Information Act, Lindorff tells Radio Occupy host Kathy Swift how the Homeland Security Department under the Obama administration coordinated the national crackdown that crushed the Occupy Movement,..."

That seems to be the relevant piece of information.
I would like to see some corroboration and the documents themselves.

We've KNOWN for a while that the suppression of the peaceful OWS movement was nationally coordinated.
I'm glad to see that there is further digging for documentation and Proof.

Or are you just relying on the unsubstantiated claim that those documents support the allegation in described in the OP?

that would be helpful in assessing the veracity of this claim.

This interview provides some pretty specific claims (e.g., suppressed sniper fire) ... the documents will either support the claim or prove it a figure of someone's imagination.

and totally blurs together the coordinated crackdown on occupy together with this.

honestly, the thing i am most suspicious of is that they would turn over such docs on a foia.

The Crackdown on the Occupy Movement

<snip>

"FBI documents revealed that from its inception, the FBI treated the Occupy movement as a potential criminal and terrorist threat even though the agency acknowledges in documents that organizers explicitly called for peaceful protest and did “not condone the use of violence” at Occupy protests.

FBI offices and agents around the country were in high gear conducting surveillance against the movement even as early as August 2011, a month prior to the establishment of the OWS encampment in Zuccotti Park and other Occupy actions around the country.

Separate government documents obtained by the Partnership for Civil Justice Fund (PCJF) showed that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), an agency created after the September 11 attacks under the rubric of combating terrorism, conducts daily monitoring of peaceful, lawful protests as a matter of policy.

Functioning as a secret political police force against people participating in lawful, peaceful free speech activity, the heavily redacted documents show that the DHS “Threat Management Division” directed Regional Intelligence Analysts to provide a “Daily Intelligence Briefing” that includes a category of reporting on “Peaceful Activist Demonstrations” along with “Domestic Terrorist Activity"

There are certain things the FOIA doesn't cover, like Inter or intra-agency communications protected under law and certain information regarding law enforcement.

I didn't read all 1,000+ pages; but the 300+ pages I read were, as you mentioned, about surveillance (and not even operational coordination, let alone ... assassinations.

But it would/should strain credulity of even the must cynical of skeptics, that the government would turn over documents even suggesting that they were/intended to engage in a domestic assassinations program.
