..that Harry Reid owns 93 acres next to the Bundy place and wants it.
I've got all the debunks about the Chinese solar project, but I can't find anything on the web debunking this shit about the land. The web is full of all the RW squawking and flapping, but no debunk yet.
Anybody got anything?

(14,733 posts)In Ohio, I can look up ownership of parcels of land at my county auditor's website by name.
So if you want to debunk it, I'd say start looking at the county auditor's website of whatever county Bundy's land is in, and other contiguous counties if his land is on or crosses county boundaries.

(197,179 posts)I had heard this too but didn't know specifically how they were full of $#|+, now I do.
I mostly just chalked this up to them having too much time on their hands and snowballing their hatred into some cockamamie BS.

(43,049 posts)they're never convinced and will just come up with another one. Maybe just let it die its own slow death.
OTOH, if someone you run into hits you with this, why not just say that's a great idea-- Bundy's a scumbag who doesn't deserve the land. At the very least you'll get some hilarious sputtering.

Same BS information about "Reid Bunkerville L.L.C." posted to hundreds of wingnut sites. Every last one says the same made up shit.

(15,277 posts)And, suppose he wants to develop that land. What does that have to do with Bundy refusing to pay grazing fees that he owes to the US government? The only question I have is: Does Bundy owe the government for the grazing fees? If he does, then he's got no complaint about how the government tries to collect on fees that he refuses to pay.
