Grace~I started when I was 13 at Broward College and I also took my classes throughout the summer, so I was able to finish it before four years, Bush, who received her degree from Florida Atlantic University, told CBS Miami.
Bush is one of nine children. Her two older siblings also received their college degrees early, but Bushs mother, Gisela, said her daughter is a particularly quick learner.

Bush, who will soon start a masters program, says she would eventually like to go to law school and then become chief justice of the United States.

(34,086 posts)AP courses are often weighted a point, or a fraction of a point higher, than non-AP courses in order to keep the possibility of a lower grade from discouraging good students from stretching to take them. Higher than 5.0 would be impossible on any scale I've seen - and I am not aware of colleges going above 4.0.

I bet Grace will get there, 2naSalit.

(4,026 posts)2 things come to mind. First, academics were only part of the college experience. The leaving home, being on your own for the first time, being immersed in a setting with your peers, a great period of growth, maturation, exploration, etc, that is done in a somewhat controlled setting. I wouldn't speed up or trade the college experience for anything.
Second, she'll kind of need to maintain this high reaching trajectory, which she may, but taking a year off or shifting gears while having Florida Atlantic university on her CV may not work in her favor.
