(14,087 posts)He's human, and screws up a lot of things (not as many things as I do, but... ) but he's always out there fighting for what he thinks is right, and he so often does it with humor and street smarts that is so lacking in most of the discussions these days. He's at his best when he pulls no punches.

(24,096 posts)and he's not messing around.
I liked what he said aobut people telling him that he's just stirring up trouble and sticking his nose in. He said Trayvon's parents invited him and until they dis-invite him, ya'll can go fuck yourselves because I am a grown man and I won't be told to shut up like I was a Boy.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
