This would be excellent background for those who haven't followed closely to catch up with why what Snowden revealed is so very important to the health of our Democratic Republic Nation going forward.)

It's two hours long and next week is Part Two. It was Excellent Watch about the NSA Spying, how it expanded under Bush, how he lied about it, the persecution of Whistle Blowers, NYT holding up story of illegal Bush spying until after the 2004 Election so the people wouldn't know, Obama's broken promises to reign it in and Greenwald and the Snowden Document release.

*WARNING* ...It's overwhelming to watch the whole two hours in one sitting. (It's like watching a thriller movie) Good to break it up in segments.

6. If you have time..this is a good Prelude to Brian Williams NBC Interview with Snowden at 10:00 p.m

Early reports from NBC are that Williams did a 4 hour interview with Snowden and it was Cut Down by NBC to One Hours. (Lots of room there for "selective statements" and the REAL CONTEXT by Snowden to be cut out and for NBC to put spin on interview.)

If I talked with someone for 4 hours and my interview was cut down to 1 hour and NBC says that Williams got verification from "outside sources" to the info Snowden gave him in interview...then it says that Williams verifications will take up much more of the interview than the 1 hour allotted to Snowden (after the 4hr interview) and so ......Snowden might get 15 or 20 minutes and refutations from Williams "sources" will take up the REST OF THE TIME?

So how is this interview even Legit when NBC sends Williams over and he does 4 hours...but only 15 or 20 Minutes gets Broadcast.

Let's hope for better from Williams at 10:pm EST tonight...

what he said. I posted because some will watch and be out here about it...and the rest of us will wait for it to be online later.

I'm not a fan of MSM........as anyone whose read anything I've posted in the past few years...but, the MSM RULES here..and so I was just doing an "Alert" about how a 4 hour interview that Brian flew to Moscow for could be "sniped and edited" and vetted through our Govt's CIA/NSA & Contractors to turn out to Damn Snowden for what he did.

I just wanted to Pre-empt giving info to see if Williams manages to get anything out of this interview that won't inspire controversy to get more hits to the NBC Website and here if some of us Snowden Supporters get engaged with those who think he is a Traitor and don't want to know any more than what THEY THINK is THEIR truth.

I think it will be interesting to see if Williams does a FAIR REPORT on this given what he is dealing with in going over there in the first place. Let's hope he does a truly FAIR Report and not what I'm thinking he's going to do ...under pressure. I would be happy for any fairness from him and NBC.

From what little I've heard (reading here on DU) Limbaugh's vacations involve some strange things.....

Williams always seemed too "UpTight and Controlled" to indulge in what I heard about Limbaugh's "time offs."

Nevermind...probably it's very seedy and we shouldn't get into that....
