I'm going to say it now, I hope the President taps Russel L. Honoré to head the VA

He would come in, kick ass, and take names.

And the Republicans would be hard pressed to hold up the nomination, too.

There were some calling for him to be drafted as a Democratic Nominee for Louisiana Lt. Governor.

There were also rumors he was going to seek the Republican nomination for Senator from Louisiana in a primary run against Vitter.

Bush put him in charge after the Katrina debacle.

He's perfect for the job.
