Obama has had only 2 so far: Gibbs and Carney. It's a completely stressful job. It was probably time.

Gibbs was great when he wasn't on stage, but at the podium he was always tongue tied for some reason. Carney just isn't likable, IMO. Maybe he was the one who accidentally leaked the CIA agent.

it's the same reason i could never be a politician. but at least if you are a politician you can focus on just meeting constituents .

but to face the media whores everyday and deal with bs every day??????????

i think you really need a certain type of personality and ability to deal with bs . and even then it would be tough for the best of them.

I realize that's irrelevent both to his resigning and this thread, but it may be my last chance to get around to asking the question...

I look at Jay Carney and I have to smile because I feel like I'm looking at Opie all grown up
