7. NO political party is "perfect",

seeing as how they are all created by humans. Also, one voter's definition of perfection in a political party may differ from another's. The perfect party for a progressive may not be so for someone who happens to be a moderate, and it may even differ from another progressive's perspective of perfection. For example, I have came across progressives in real life who have criticized the Green Party's emphasis on environmental issues over other issues.
Getting back to the image from the OP, the Democrats (out of all the political parties) arguably hold the most realistic vision of governance and the best shot for progressives and moderate voters getting what we want in the future. Democrats want to govern, while Republicans obviously do not. However, Republicans are becoming desperate as they are losing their ability to be competitive in presidential elections. There is only a matter of time before it's time for re-apportionment (which coincides with a presidential year), and the gerrymandered districts get redrawn.

& while it's true, it kind of gets to something Bill Maher was talking about re: Democrats and/or the ACA. We always start off with the, "No, this isn't perfect" - thing.
