private ambulance service in transporting patients to appointments, bur now she can work as an EMT and get a raise as well

As basics...there is also good reason for that.

EMT is easy, EMT-P is brutal as training goes...it is...intense. While she saves and puts her time, what we used to tell our EMTs was to start doing some reading, find out pharmacology for the county. That and ALS are the killers, both ALS and PALS.

I know quite a few and let me tell you, I have the utmost respect for anyone in that field. They do a job I could never handle.
