Tucker Carlson defends Sleeping at the Wheel as something that is natural...

I wonder if Tucker and his family were the victims of a serious rear end accident caused by someone who fell asleep at the wheel,, whether he would be still singing this song?

That would explain his otherwise inexplicable outburst of empathy for the driver. You know how the Repukes are, they can never "walk a mile" in someone else's shoes unless they already have...

Was he being overworked and pressured to drive for more hours than he was supposed to. If so, is this common with Walmart truckers?
