Initial police reports never mentioned that Zimmerman had a bloody nose or a wet shirt that showed evidence of a struggle. Attorneys for the dead teens family believe the information was added in a second report to justify the lack of an arrest.
Police said witness statements supported Zimmermans account. But several of the witnesses expressed surprise, telling The Herald that they reported hearing someone crying for help just before a shot ended the cries. The 911 tapes of witness calls bolstered their claims.
One of the witnesses who heard the crying said she called a detective repeatedly, but said he was not interested because her account differed from Zimmermans.

(30,439 posts)Broken noses usually bleed like crazy, but his shirt looked blood-free in the video and there were no bandages.
I highly doubt he even had a broken nose. It's bullshit.
Van Jones made an excellent point about this case. Usually when your family member gets killed in cold blood, the police are on your side. But in this case they took Zimmerman's side almost immediately.

(154,021 posts)Time of dispatch and arrival are the same.
Back in the age of paper that was a fairly common mistake with my crews, I kept a log, I corrected those things and initialed them as dispatch when I was unlucky to draw radio...
In the age of enhanced 911, that is done automatically by the computer...
So it points to people doing crazy shit hopping nobody outside knows this.

(154,021 posts)These days logs are kept to the second. It matters to managers when deciding if more personnel is needed, or when cuts come where to cut.

(154,021 posts)To add details, but changing time of dispatch and arrival was sloppy...also it open another question, why didn't the cop add shots fired to his report? It could happened, if he was on patrol next street over.
I did EMS but that one screamed at me.
I forgot, not every department has them, but were SPD and SFD vehicles equipped with GPS? Some enhanced 911 systems have them to ease disparptch and avoid some of the shennanigans that are common otherwise.

(15,933 posts)Zalisko, who has followed the case closely, said he was startled by Zimmermans claim that he had left his truck so he could check the name of the street he was on. Making a point that Chief Lee also made, Zalisko said its implausible that Zimmerman would not know where he was in a tiny gated community that he patrolled regularly.
Thats a lie right there, Zalisko said. There are so many inconsistencies in the story. At the very least they should have arrested him, and let the state attorney sort it out.

Note: there are only THREE streets within the Retreat @ Twin Lakes community. One of those streets circles the whole complex. The other two streets are rather short in length. You would think a "Captain" of Crimewatch would know this
TSK TSK George. He is a liar and a cold blooded killer of children.
It is rather sad that Trayvon wasn't allowed to stand "his" ground, yet the Chief defends Zimmermans right to the same standard and makes the claim it would have been against the "law" to arrest Zimmerman because of the SYG law.
HEY Chief is Zimmerman bunking with you since he is in hiding???
