I wonder if people can read at times here

We all make errors of sort at times. But when an alert is made and the alert contains quotes that do not exist... why can't the jury see that? Just puzzles me.

Quotes are supposed to be accurate. Sometimes they are used out of context and used wrongly on a topic ... but they at least exist when used that way.

You should post this in ATA, GD isn't really the right spot to get the feedback you'd like. IMO. Agschmid Jun 2014 #5

and as for what "the right spot to get the feedback you'd like", I doubt if it of much import to me.
-
If a couple people think on this, that is probably enough for me.
-
It just reflects poorly on the people here imo.
-
To disagree is one thing, to not bother about quotes is quite a different matter.

it's not an administrative thing imo, on this everyone's opinion is just as valuable.
-
that someone would go to the length of creating a false quote is what is important.

a post that said:
-
"i guess it matter to me if someone puts their hand on my leg... or I would like to put mine on theirs.....or similar. I do not like pda much by anyone btw."
-
was changed to being quoted as saying:
-
This is irrelevant and transphobic and probably homophobic as well. There was no discussion of sex in the OP, but this poster moved onto "they'd better not make a move on me . . . " homophobic trash anyway.
-
and apparently no one even bothered to look to see if accurate.

edit: people did look to see if accurate, just the person claiming it was a quote... is inaccurate. and that person has difficulties it seems. and I said so ( which is not allowed I guess)

It was totally fun, and I spent most of my time there. But it was kind of a complete clusterfuck, and Skinner pulled the plug on it and replaced it with Ask The Administrators.
