If anyone is in the market for a new "toy", take a look at the ipod touch

First off, I am not an Apple fan boy! I want to make that clear. I love android, have a PC, and have an android tablet and phone. But I must admit, the ipod touch is a really cool device. I have been using it almost non-stop since I got it.

If you like board games or gaming, it has some great games that android doesn't have. And another thing I really like, it charges super fast! You can put it in the charger and maybe half hour or so later, and it is more than halfway charged. It can be fully charged in no time. And the battery last a good long while too (though not as long as the ad hype suggests)

The screen is great too, while it's true it is small, it is "crystal clear" and with nice and vivid colors. And you can also take all of your itunes music with you, as long as you buy the mid-range model. I would recommend you buy at least the 32GB model, so you have plenty of memory space. Other cool things, it is light as a feather, and with a decent pair of ear buds, has good sound. Anyway, I know I sound like a commercial, but if you are into electronic devices, I recommend to take a look at it. The newest version (which I have) is the 5th generation. http://www.apple.com/ipod-touch/

I don't even know what that means, but, I will admit it is probably not a device you want to watch a lot of movies on, because the screen is small. It's a great screen, but small.

I think the screen is fine for gaming and surfing the internet though.

It is like the iphone in many aspects, but with the phone part missing. That is why it is much cheaper than the iphone.

That said, I have read internet rumors apple will be coming out with larger screen iphones in the future.

When my wife got it for me. I can't believe how much I hate my friends iPhone screen after using it 6 months.

and I think the screen is large enough. I wouldn't want a phone any bigger.

10. Some people may not, a lot would reconsider after using a larger screen for a week.

I mean there is a too big...i would draw the line at it not fitting in my pocket reasonably. Of course I am almost 50...that can make a difference too.

I highly recommend Notebook for it

They do have a client for Windows in Beta, the Mac one graduated to full version recently. I use that app ALL THE TIME.

with a simple app and a mifi connection you can turn your iPod touch into a mobile phone?

Just throwing it out there for anyone who likes to obtain multiple uses from as few purchases as possible.

I prefer a b/w Kindle but this is so portable that it is perfect for a lot of people for that use as well. Not a lot on each page but easy to turn pages. It really can do a lot of things and the portability is huge.

I can't believe they are selling something as 'new' and offering less, other than a few goodies that most people won't use. iPods are for listening to music and Apple wants you to sign into their ecosystem to use them.

Some of us don't need the bells and whistles, we just need room for thousands of hours of lossless Grateful Dead.

I mean, hypothetically.
