More, one of the biggest lies of Obama's rise to the presidency is that the so-called "librul media" loves Obama and has a bias in favor of him. It is one big sack o' shit lie. A lie that was first propagated by Hillary and Bill Clinton and their surrogates and continues unabated and unsubstantiated to this very day.

The Corporate Media has hated this man from Day #1 (George Mason University's study re: media coverage proves this).

Obama has never gotten a fair shake in the media. Look back on the stimulus debates, on the ACA prior to the 2010 election. I remember Obama traveling from town to town, literally spitting out a spleen, trying to explain to the American people how the stimulus works, how healthcare reform (including a public option) worked and debunking Republican lies. I remember Obama inviting Republicans to the White House to have discussions re: health care. And even him going to Baltimore to meet Republicans in their own backyard. But the Corporate Media that hates this president and the liberals on DU and elsewhere who have forgotten how hard this president DID fight for the public option and debated it right in front of Republicans several times--simply do not understand how this guy has been treated. They forgot that the media has ignored what happened. They forgot that this guy was out there by himself. Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, Van Hollen...all the leadership in the Democratic Party went missing. None of the Democrats stood by this man's side to defend the stimulus package or health care proposals (remember, there were FIVE of them: 2 from the House, 3 in the Senate--at least two of them with a public option or something resembling it).

But we simply don't remember any of this. All we want to do is point the finger at one man and blame him.
