The question has not been answered.........
The question is what needs the most protection
1. The right to freedom of speech or 2. The right of an individual to be free of your speech That was the question that should have been decided by the Supreme Court in regard to anti-abortion protesters, but I don't think it was asked. The question should have been asked in the parameters of "when an individual is exercising their constitutional rights, do they have the right to not be verbally assaulted, and doesn't the state have the responsibility to shield them from being verbally assaulted as they attempt to exercise their constitutional right?" I firmly believe in the right to free speech, but not at the expense of those partaking in their constitutional rights.

5. As a society, we still haven't resolved the primary Free Speech question from the 1950s. . .
Do we have the right to be silent?
"Are you now or have you ever been. . . ? I suspect our grandchildren will be debating that question, with no resolution, when they are as old as we. And the question you raise now will still lag then almost a century behind . . . |

6. There is no right for anyone to "be free of your speech."
To be free of harassment, yes, and a right to go peacefully about your business. And a business, such as a health clinic, has a right not to have it's business interfered with. This decision is appalling.
