TMP-"Two Guys With Guns Have Showdown On First Day Of Georgia's New 'Guns Everywhere' Law"

A "misunderstanding" between two armed men in a Georgia convenience store led to an arrest on the very day that the state's new expansive gun rights law went into effect, according to The Valdosta Daily Times.

Valdosta Police Chief Brian Childress summed the incident up for the newspaper.

“Essentially, it involved one customer with a gun on his hip when a second customer entered with a gun on his hip," Childress said.

Would it have been illegal for these guys to have carried guns into the convenience store two weeks ago?

for incidents out of ignorance of reporters just as stand your ground has been blamed in many stories also out of ignorance of the law.

the one idiot was arrested for pulling his weapon inside the store.

Of course that was after the other idiot demanded to see his i.d. and certification.

I think I will never visit Georgia.

In fact, bet on that.
