rescued dog's miraculous transformation

Viewers then see his subsequent shaving and Woody's true sickly, fragile form is revealed.

Woody at first refused to eat and had to be fed through an IV.

But fast-forward a few months and the once bedraggled dog is beautiful again.

He still sports one blind eye, but he's grown a new coat of clean, curly fur and the love of his foster family has turned him into a completely new animal.

Hagar's friend Lisa Charelli is currently fostering Woody, writes the Huffington Post, but he'll soon need a forever home.Despite the caring efforts of neighbors, Woody was near death when Hope For Paws and its founder Eldad Hagar came to the rescue.

The footage speaks for itself. Woody is a matted mess and looks helpless and sad as the team manages to pull him out from under the shed.

Rescued from the brink of death: Dog abandoned for a year under a shed after his owner died undergoes miraculous transformation
