. . . it's supposed to appeal to women more.
(Reuters) - U.S. Republican party officials are putting together a new election year messaging campaign to reach women voters on issues including Obamacare, jobs and education as they seek to gain an advantage in the Nov. 4 congressional elections.
Their research identified the phrase "start over" as a message that resonated with many women on Obamacare . . .
Party officials say the goal is to develop messages that can capture the support of (white suburban )women and other swing voters in selected federal and state races, including the U.S. Senate contests in Arkansas and Michigan.

(1,348 posts)The first time around it was a huge headache for all concerned. And I suspect most folks, no matter how they felt about it, where sick and tired of hearing about it by the time it was passed. It was a bit of a messy passage for all concerned.
But yes, GOP, go ahead and ask everyone to go through that process again. I'm sure people will love it.

(15,805 posts)As the article states, this nothing but an "election year messaging campaign" intended to deceive less savvy voters. This is nothing more than GOP propaganda, and despite their newest sloganeering, Republicans will never offer any healthcare plan because their base will tear them limb from limb as traitors to the party orthodoxy and brand them as 'socialists'.
