Oh yes they would. 4 of them were willing to throw out the entire law based on libertarian woo. Roberts himself bought into the woo, and decided to uphold it only because it was a tax.

Don't forget the Roberts court is the reason millions of people did not benefit from the Medicaid Expansion.

There are 4 votes right now at SCOTUS to get rid of federal exchange subsidies.

What the vox article is saying is that "John Roberts would never vote against us on that."

Wish I had that much faith in John Roberts. But I do not.

. . . I'll stick with wishful thinking, instead of completely unproductive and demoralizing gloom.

. . .no manners, not a bit of respect, understanding that you have no idea at all who you're calling an idiot. This is what makes DU suck.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
