Mother Sues Border Patrol Over Death Of Child Shot Multiple Times

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/07/29/jose-antonio-elena-rodriguez-lawsuit_n_5631071.html?utm_hp_ref=mostpopular

The mother of a 16-year-old Mexican national shot at least 10 times is suing the Border Patrol agents responsible for his death, the American Civil Liberties Union said Tuesday. The civil suit filed by the mother of José Antonio Elena Rodríguez comes amid a long-running debate over the Border Patrol's use of force.

The agency has maintained that its officers opened fire on Elena Rodríguez on Oct. 10, 2012, after a group of people threw rocks at them from the Mexican side of the border. The agents were on the U.S. side responding to a report of drug smuggling in Nogales.
But the lawsuit contends that Elena Rodríguez was not throwing rocks and that he was merely walking along the street near the border wall separating the twin cities of Nogales, Mexico, and Nogales, Arizona.

The Mexican medical examiner found that eight bullets struck the teenager when he was already on the ground, according to a Fusion report. He was shot twice in the head, and the autopsy showed that most of the bullets hit him from behind.

A Border Patrol agent shot to death a man standing "on his native soil in Mexico, unarmed and unthreatening," the man's family claims in a lawsuit prompted by the recent 5th Circuit ruling that U.S. law enforcement officers can be held liable for cross-border shootings.
Survivors of Juan Perez Santillan sued the United States, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice, unknown Border Patrol agents, the U.S. Bureau of Customs and Border Protection, and the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency, on Monday in Federal Court.
Santillan's family filed a nearly identical federal lawsuit in October 2012, alleging Fourth and Fifth Amendment violations.
They voluntarily dismissed that complaint in January so they could file an administrative claim with the federal agencies involved.

nvestigative Fund reporter John Carlos Frey, is breaking a story in collaboration with Fusion about border security and excessive and deadly use of force by US Border Patrol agents along the US-Mexico Border. Frey has uncovered new information on border shootings, including a shocking admission from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

1. In an unexpected move, CBP has admitted in an email that Border Patrol agents have shot and killed six Mexican civilians on Mexican soil in the past five years. The rapid hiring of thousands of new agents between 2006 and 2009 is the backdrop for at least 10 cross-border shootings in the last five years, resulting in the deaths of unarmed Mexicans.

these shooters obviously like to kill and see the body twitch as the slugs hit the body. Sicko gun freaks.
