Chris Matthews: Obama should sue Congress right back – for disobedience...Do you agree?

Wouldn't that be wonderful !!!!!

Chris Matthews made somewhat of a modest proposal on his show Monday: if John Boehner is going to sue President Obama, why doesn’t Obama just sue Congress right back for a “failure to provide services”?

Matthews appeared to be only half-joking at most about this, explaining that while this would normally be an absurd thought, we’re in “suing season” anyway. He said, “Think of all the ways Congress has failed to perform its regular duties. Basically left its inbox stuffed with undone work.”

Matthews argued by not acting on a number of big issues, and not voting on nominees to fill important positions, Congress is demonstrating a failure to provide services that Matthews believes would be actionable.

He concluded, “If little old John Boehner can slap a suit at you, you can slap it back.”

assholes by the scruff of their puny necks and drag their ass out of there and tell them NEVER to return.

The behavior of the right since the day Obama took office has been the greatest disgrace since the Japanese Internment camps...

Not to mention the treatment of AA and NA as well...

If people don't like what they are doing they can fire them at election time. But other than that they don't report to anyone including the President.

And perhaps certify the results of a presidential election. They don't have to pass any laws or confirm nominees, it is the perogotive of Congress alone. Why anyone would vote for such a group is beyond me.

Congress as envisioned, is to represent the people of the United States and to serve as a check against ANY president from assuming too much power, not go along with whatever the president wants.

The basis of the lawsuit is that the President allegedly exceeded his executive branch authority by changing when certain parts of the ACA became effective, despite what was mandated in the ACA when it was passed by Congress and signed by the President.

The underlying issue is this: Is it legal for a president, any president, to make significant changes to a law Congress enacted?

If you answer Yes, remember that when a Republican President uses President Obama's actions as a legal precedent.
