That was a telling moment. He got up and fled, after taking one bite out of a burger, when this woman showed up and said she was a Dreamer. Poof....Rand's outa there.

See it here, and on many other sites:

He had other things to do, and he's entitled to that. He's also entitled, and obligated, at some time, actually to discuss Dreamers' issue.

I have no such responsibility. I saw the video. He was clearly leaving because the "Dreamer" showed up. Watch it again.

How many politicians who have been interviewed many times before and do not desperately need the publicity will take one bite out of a hot sandwich and run off to do yet another interview?

How many politicians conduct interviews holding a glass of beer? Should be simple enough to check Mr. Paul's story, though. Who was the alleged journalist he scampered off to talk with?

settling in to a fresh sandwich...if he were late for an appt. somewhere I doubt if he'd be getting the sandwich to take one bite out of it. Of course, he might have gagged on it because it wasn't any good...it's just funny that it happens the minue the young woman says she's a dreamer...

Looked to me like he didn't care to be on camera in that situation. "Oops! Uncomfortable! Gotta go!"
