Had airstrikes not have happened and 40,000 civilians died, you would bitch about that too. I want to add the fear mongering over Ebola is crazy. I don't recognize DU anymore it seems like a constant hate fest. From the sexist posts to the hate President Obama no matter what threads make me sad that DU has come to this.

I think DU does better when we have an outside target (like Bush) to unite us.

(16,380 posts)And no Democrat I know walks in lockstep like a Republican. One of the reasons the phrase "herding cats" came about.
Deal with it.
Oh and BTW feel free to google all of my posts "bitching" about the President. You won't find many.

(16,020 posts)It is the haters that call posters with legitimate concerns libertarians. Everyone that does that loses any credibility with me. There is never any conversation about the subject when they appear. Just name calling.

(18,184 posts)that we're back to the same old discredited neocon shenanigans.
I don't know if that was the plan from the start or if he changed course, but his first term seemed to be going in a different direction.

(10,007 posts)The Pentagon has repeatedly proven that nothing they say with regard to Iraq should be taken as the truth. I'm skeptical of any claim that U.S. military force is being used to fight "genocide" or for "humanitarian strikes." Just like the "genocide" in Libya, after the fact, wasn't, I expect something similar in this latest round of the "Gin Up Public Support For War" game.
