This has got to be one of the most ignorant rants I've ever seen.
To think, this ignorant person was to be a heart beat away from being President.

I find it difficult to believe this is not Tina Fey on a SNL spot.
Watching that was like hearing finger nails on a chalk board.

(15,776 posts)1. She is drunk.
2. She is taking an illegal substance.
3. She is either having a bad reaction to medication or the medication is being adjusted.
4. There is an impending brain lesion.
5. She knows the Sarah Palin network will fail and she does not have more words than it takes to fill a tweet.
Any combination of the above.

(25,577 posts)I've been a literary agent and manager for a long time and I see this a lot with many wannabe writers that lack the talent needed to succeed.
Most hacks believe they don't need to re-write and everything they write or say is awesome.
It's a narcissistic flaw.
They are idiots and so is Sarah Palin, so the theory fits.

(15,805 posts)who gravitate toward the Palins of this world because they validate all their fears, hatreds and suspicions. Palin, like other successful con men and grifters, gilds all their cherished beliefs and breathes life into their closely held conspiracy theories. She is an important and popular celebrity on the right because she represents the epitome of what conservatives value; the superficial and cartoonish image of a superior power, strength and wealth.

(5,364 posts)I know 3 poeople who think this woman is the smartest, insightful, "tell it like it is" sage that ever was. Not because they analyzed her words, ran them by empirical evidence, let alone used critical thinking, but because they are just like the types you described above.
Of those 3:
Two of them are conservative ideologues and basically employ the "she's on our side, so she must be smart and must be right about everything, so that's that!" logic
One is a paranoid gun nut and that she was a lifetime member of the NRA while running for the vice presidency was a good enough reason for him
Say even the most tactfully, cleverly worded derision of her, and they'll all give you a tensed jawed, balled fist, hissing respose as though you just pissed in the holy water of their churches.
There's something wrong with these people.
I'm related to one of them; the other two are/were long time friends.
She's a walking wedge issue beyond belief.
