Michael Moore has pointed out how much a bad economy and economically destroyed cities cause higher rates of dysfunctionality and violence. When he was showing people being thrown out of a house on Christmas Eve to the tune of "Wouldn't It Be Nice" by the Beach Boys, in "Roger and Me", his first feature film.

Why do I have the feeling that this isn't going to improve as the younger generations start heading into middle age?
