it does matter if the police lie.

That is what persons are discussing. They aren't trying to besmirch Michaels character.

So can we please discuss their lies, and the character of these police officers, with out being shouted down. Its a big part of this.

And, FWIW to all and sundry reading this thread, Michael Brown died an innocent man. He never had an opportunity to defend himself against the charges flying against him after his heart stopped beating.

The police do not have the right to be judge, jury and executioner. Their job is to protect and serve - not convict and sentence. That's what the courts are supposed to do.

How the hell can you trust officers if you don't know if they are telling the truth?
