rating the the higher the gas prices. When he is down in the poles so are gas prices.

I haven't seen evidence in that But my friend honestly believes that the gas companies are trying to discourage people from voting for Obama with the power of the pump.

Blue line is gas prices, green approval, dark green disapproval. Transformed to fit, so it's definitely not reliable, but it might be worth a real look.

We have another good news poll for Obama. So Morning Joe spends the entire first segment of the show talking about the "possible" strengths of Romney buried DEEP in the cross-tabs.

Once again, they can't see the forest because there are too many trees in the way.

turning his slime machine on Santorum and Gingrich, his mudmasters have only been warming up for the President. If the primary season is any indication, we're going to see a really ugly campaign for the next several months.

They were sliming Obama during the primary and before the election in 2008 and they have not stopped. It has become background noise. If this stuff were going to work, his approval numbers would be well below 50, given the level of effort they have poured into it already. The people haven't bought the Kenyan Socialist bunk, and aren't about to start.

either Hillary or McLame had the gall to do what Romney's willing to do to win. I stand by my prediction that it's gonna get really ugly.

The stuff has been non-stop for 3.5 years. There is no shock value left in it. Yes, RMoney will do whatever he can, and the allied pacs even more, but honestly, the people who would be impressed are already convinced. In propaganda, you can oversell a point. They passed this threshold a long time ago. It will be ugly for sure, because they have nothing else to offer. If it makes a difference at all, it will be in making the landslide larger.

I hope they pull out all the stops and make it as absurdly unfair as possible. It will just get our side to the polls.

although still too high went down 10 cents from 4.29 to 4.19. Summer is around the corner so I'm gusessing, because we all know how the oil companies need "more" of their outrageous profits, gas prices will go up.

The GOP Supper Packs will probably spend more than 500 billion of lies, hate, evil, ugly and more lies commericals against Pres O and other Dems running for office/re-election.

All Mittens need to do is continue to talk. Same with his wife who have also said some pretty crazy stuff. If he picks a male vp, game over. If he picks someone like New Mexico's governor, a latin female, well, if she keeps up the gopper talking points than, game over, I mean look at what the goppers are saying now, including, N Haley who is not too bright.

There is no "war on women"????????

This goes back to the movie, can't think of the name, where a husband is making out with a young beautiful girl, and his wife comes in and catches them. Both the husband and the young lady put on their clothes like nothing had happened, he straightens up the room, ie making up the bed, all at the same saying what women. At the end his wife is confused and finally agrees with the husband that nothing happened,

Welcome to the GOP party and their base.
