Does anyone know how many non-peaceful protesters there are ?

Or to be less PC, how many people want to cause trouble ?

(Seems no whatever what the police do...
Riot gear...no riot gear
Curfew...no curfew
Talking ...no talking with them
Helicopters...no helicoptors

It really doesn't seem to satisfy the non-peaceful protestors protestors.

That way, they only have citizens of Ferguson who for the most part aren't probably causing the trouble.

I have seen no one physically or verbally violent.

But here comes Robocop to make sure the curfew is enforced.

Had they stayed away, people would slowly straggle on home, their kids tired and crying for their beds.

Are there people who came from miles away to stir shit, maybe paid by the right?

There might be a few.

What makes you think anyone here knows is beyond me.

It may be time for the gangs (they're not that bad) to keep the peace. They just have to drop the bullshit and work together for a while. In my day, the gangs would kick you out of the area if you drew heat to the neighborhood. They live there.

I have yet to see even one of them refuse orders to attack peaceful protesters so I am wondering if there are any non-violent cops. There are lots of peaceful protesters on the other hand.

he said there were two white guys from Illinois who were anarchists and simply came to incite violence. They were both arrested. Which is why things have calmed down.

Ah but one never knows motivation.

For all we know they are students of Marx, Lenin and Ghandi and know exactly what they want to do out there... then again they were possibly the same group that was throwing rocks at Chris Hayes..

and wreck it for everyone. Then again it gets media coverage.

Used to be the black block got blamed but I think people have just learned their attitude
and don't even know what anarchist means.

London too, they destroyed things and made people hate them.

They should just leave the area. Because all they are doing by their presence is increasing the tension. These are peaceful protestors let them stand out there and say chants and protest peacefully all they want.

Cpt. Johnson actually tried that, minimizing the police presence and just staging tactical response units some distance away.

But disruptors know that all it takes is a few gunshots, or a break-in, or a fire, or even a phony 911 call to create a situation where police must respond. The authorities can't just turn off 911 and refuse to respond to emergencies.

there was an interview with a protestor walking the street and that person said there were maybe fewer than two dozen bad apples and that the other protestors were trying to wall the bad guys off from doing anything. That was probably two hours ago. I have been sort of glued to the TV rather than being here. Things have gotten a lot worse since that interview.
