Cornwallis' British troops (and his Hessian mercs) vs. the unkempt and ragged Colonials under George Washington. Flash forward 200 years and I'll bet you heard similar words uttered about Navarre's French troops at Dien Bien Phu vs. the peasants under Giap's command.
