All of RW media are positioning their talking points to establish a false correlation between the Kajieme Powell suicide by cop, apparent event as a justification for the fucking murder of Mike Brown at the hands of the Ferguson PD.

besides, from the initial reports I was willing to believe the police had the responsibility to shoot. Knives can do a lot of damage in a very short time. But, now it looks like this may be another trigger happy police force.

3. The video does not show suicide by cop

The video showed a man who looked like he may be having some mental health issues, but was in no way threatening. What happened to Kajieme Powell is very similar to what happened to Michael Brown, there is a pattern and that pattern can not be ignored.

Your dismissal of Kajieme Powell comes off really nasty, the guy was just shot dead and you scold people for acknowledging him? Seriously you need to read what you wrote to yourself and think of how it might come off to people who are upset about his death.

I voted to leave.

I do think the shooting of Kajieme Powell shows that law enforcement is trigger happy and doesn't take the necessary steps to apprehend. Instead, they prefer to kill it seems.

Your OP was pretty harmless though. Nothing wrong with a different perspective on the Kajieme Powell shooting.

Or any other media for that matter so long as we have verifiable facts. I believe I and others at DU are capable of thinking critically and forming our own opinions, and that includes seeing that these two cases are very much BOTH important and similar in some, but not all ways.
