For some time as I load the toons, there were a number of them not loading but just showing a blank ican of sorts.

I finally figured it out and if any Firefox users who also are experiencing this same glitch, I disabled the add-on AdBlocker and all of the toons loaded.

The ones that finally showed up may have some ads embedded within them or are linked to a site that AdBlocker considers 'ads?'.

Sorry DU but I don't and have never clicked on an ad within a web site so my blocking doesn't detract from your revenue stream, as it were.
