Are the protests in Ferguson winding down?

The coverage is waning. The number of protesters is dwindling, as are the number of arrests and reports of lawlessness. Will everything blow over until the 2015 summer TV trial of Officer Wilson?

person there is registered to vote and votes

Which means the local officials will make it has hard as possible for them to vote, but to me my vote is worth fighting and dying for.

Hands up! Don't shoot! Hands up! Don't shoot! Hands up! Don.... Hey, when is the new Kardashian season starting?

I wish folks would keep the protests going until change is achieved but it seems like that isn't happening.

We won't forget how the racists are smearing Brown and Powell either, there is a long battle ahead.

Outrage of the most recent incident... shot down planes, invasion, shootings, kidnappings, policy etc.. etc.. etc... always wanes and most folks who are in the hot seat at the upper levels of power are keenly aware of that fact.

Hold fast until the storm blows over and then deal with it or not...

The only reason it looks like it's winding down is that it got rained out last night.

At least Nixon caught a clue and called the Guard back out. That should help.

There will eventually be sporadic mainstream coverage at best after another week or so. A trial will bring it back to the front page though but that's potentially January at the earliest with no delays.

But the protests around the US are just winding up.

Just today we found out the damn cop didn't file an incident report. They say. The truth probably is more like they are covering up the incident and scratched any report.

The whole PD of Ferguson is under the gun and the Truth is leaking out because of the street protests. The street protests have been a HUGE success. They have many, many people now paying close attention to all Ferguson.

The street protests did the job, and now we are all so much on the case that the people of Ferguson are no longer alone in their struggle for Justice.

I for one am proud of the people's protests. The protests are a great success. Take a bow Ferguson protestors! You got our attention and that is what you wanted.
