Not even Argentina. I have a friend there, and he tells me that they would never do that.

There is no reason for any migratory officer to even bat an eye.

We don't even have a local warrant.

Long term that is another story.

But your friend is wrong. Plenty of criminals flee one country and live in another for the rest if their lives. On the bright side, if he went to Peru, mom is from there...the US and Peru have an extradition treaty...unlike Mexico, there is mo limitation on the sentence...not that this is a capital case.

George wants to avoid that, better look up at Venezuela, or East at Brazil. The latter it's easy to go poof.

But he better have a lot of protection money if he plans on living. The Aryan's will take what money he has and let the others sheer the sheep.

It may be a bit of a black eye on the reactionary rightwing folk. And if he really did talk to Hannity, who is a smart man in spite of his politics, now that's a conundrum.

Probably have to wait for Corey on Friday. And this one won't be a news dump, no matter what day or time.

He has too many things in his favor at the moment:

(1) He has not been charged with any crime.
(2) There is a strong possibility that he will never be charged with a crime.
(3) SYG law supports his actions, based solely on what the original investigators found.
(4) There is a stronger possibility that if he is charged with any crime, it likely will be a lesser charge of manslaughter.

All of that and the fact that he has shown no remorse for the killing, seems very unlikely that he would commit suicide. People in cases like this often don't kill themselves unless there is very strong chance they will be convicted of at least 2nd Degree Murder or 1st Degree Murder or they fear they will be killed behind bars. Since Zimmerman has at least a 50/50 chance of getting away with all this scott free he might as well wait to see how it all plays out.

If he was going to kill himself I would venture to say he would do it only after he was convicted with a punishment of something like life behind bars.

People who are castigating the Sanford Police Dept. routinely leave out the fact that the LEAD investigator on the case DID NOT BELIEVE GZ's story, and was going to charge him for manslaughter, at least.

Jeb Bush has publicly stated that Stand Your Ground did not apply in this case, and has called for GZ to be arrested.

If GZ is not charged, it will be for reasons having nothing to do with the evidence in the case -- of which there is clearly more than enough to have him arrested and charged -- as originally planned.

(5) He's getting financial support from the reich wing at this point.

That alone would tell him to tough this thing out. There's a great chance that the original police investigation is so very flawed that even a lousy hack of an attorney could blow huge holes in the case, and with the money he's dragging in, he'll be able to afford a pretty damn good lawyer, who will thrive for years on being able to get an acquittal for a man who "everybody knew did it". That's ultra-valuable when the 1% get their nuts caught in the wringer.

I hope he doesn't do that too. His life will never be right no matter what happens with the investigation. Life as he knew it is over.

He's getting a high-five from the racists and gun nuts across the country while he panhandles for money on his website. He's totally self-absorbed, so much so I doubt he'll elope and I doubt he'll kill himself.

Being an accessory to the crime. Who knows? Maybe Hannity is the "Stand Your Ground" whisperer?

One can dream.
