Mitch McConnell RUNS AWAY FROM REPORTERS After Leak Of Secret Speech To the KOCHS

Video of McConnell dodging and fleeing questions:

RUUUUUUUUUNNNN MITCH RUUUUUUUUUUNNN!....................

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has been caught on video literally running away from reporters after audio of a secret speech that he gave to the Koch brothers was leaked.

In the leaked audio, McConnell admitted that the Kochs run the Republican Party, and that he will be carrying out their agenda if Republicans win the majority in the Senate. The leak of the secret speech combined with McConnell’s promise to shut down the government if Obama doesn’t do what he wants has led to McConnell literally running away from the media. In an interview eight days ago, McConnell threatened government shutdowns. The backlash caused by his annoucement of his strategy caused him to change his tune during an interview with CNN, “I’m the guy that’s gotten us out of the shutdowns that some of our members have pushed us into in the past. That does not mean that you should send the president a total blank check with no restrictions at all on how the money is spent.”

If McConnell won’t shut down the government, he has no leverage. For this reason alone, it is likely that McConnell was lying to CNN in order to save his own hide. The leak of the audio from the secret Koch summit poses a gigantic problem for a thirty-year incumbent who is already viewed as being too close to Washington. Sen. McConnell is running away from reporters because he was caught red-handed. He can claim that the things he said on the tape are nothing new, but to hear him expressing his need for the Koch brothers in a way that he hasn’t done for Kentucky voters is a damning indictment of McConnell’s priorities.

Dog Days Of Schadenfreude! I'm enjoying the spectacle of Mitch McConnell running away from the reporters. It's almost as fun as the Wilbur Mills/Fanne Fox scandal, except that there's no pretty woman involved and it looks like McConnell was cold stone sober when he talked to the Kochs.

Even better is the fact that McConnell's speech made it to the New York Times. I don't know about the on-line site, but the dead-tree (print) edition had an article about it, even if it was only in the back pages of the front section.

Oh, Bwahahahahahahahahah!

Because in the clip, Mr. McConnell is actually running away from the cameras and microphones.

Odd, though. I should think that McConnell would be very anxious to get his viewpoints and positions out in front of the voters, so they can know where he truly stands. Is McConnell's political strategy to be shared only with his wealthy benefactors?

A Republican that switched from Bachmann to Paul shortly before the 2012 Iowa caucus has admitted to accepting a $73,000 bribe to make the switch, raising questions about what he knew and when he knew it. He may also have received a bribe from Bachmann in order to gain his endorsement for her. The sleaze factor is sky high.

In this case, Easley implies that McConnell made a hasty exit because of the Koch speech, but in the actual video, there's no reference to Koch, no one was asking him about it; and he seemed to be just casually exiting, albeit without talking to reporters.

Easley does this kind of thing all the time, he's a click bait artist. I won't bother reading him anymore, and I hope people will stop linking his stuff.

The Koch Brothers are socialist and wants to destroy big government. They want to get rid of state governments too.
Several Republican Governors that are funded by the Koch bros are not fighting to get re elected. Corbett of PA, Snyder of MI, Walker of WI, R. Scott of FL( a 14 time Felon) and Brownback of KS.
All the governors have attack the pensioners, create a war on the working class, unions, create huge cuts to education, cuts in job training program, cuts in the states interstructures. They are all Tea Party candidates and are anti government.
A huge change will happen during the next 2/3 years, in defeating these radical tea party members.
They declare a war on voting, suppressing in all kinds of way to stop voters. They have set up there own voting districts so they can win at least in their districts.

IT IS PAST TIME FOR THE PEOPLE TO WAKE UP AND SEE HOW THESE GOVERNORS HAVE DESTROYED THE STATES AND COMMUNITIES. LETS VOTE SMART IN NOV 2014 and 2015.

Tue Sep 2, 2014, 11:12 AM

"The GOP/Tea Party represent a treasonous group of people in the U.S. who's goal is to destroy the federal government of the United States. The only function they believe the government should provide is the military and court system to protect business interests and prosecute anyone going against said business interests. These phony flag waivers claim to support the constitution while they undermine the authority of the government to regulate business as per the Constitution of the United States. They also don't believe in the bill of rights and they really don't believe in public infrastructure unless of course that infrastructure provides a means for them to stuff more money into their pockets.

McConnell and his ilk along with the Koch brothers ought to be tried for treason against the constitution, the office for which they stand and treason against the tax paying American citizens. They represent international corporate conglomerates instead of the people of the United States which makes them traitors as well as treasonous"
