Closing arguments in the McDonnells trial

Prosecutors are outlining all of Bob's lies today.

The WAPO's live blog is the best way to follow it:

Scroll down and read the headlines if you don't have time to read it all.

1. "Most jurors appeared to be listening dutifully to the evidence. None of the jurors laughed during

the occasional light moments in Burke’s (Governor Vaginal Probes defence lawyer) statement, although supporters of the McDonnells did several times."

Now I am no rocket scientist or leading criminal defence trial attorney, but that can not be good.

Thank you for the link, the trial is fascinating in revealing how fucked McConnell is.

Hats off to the prosecutors, I see a similar fate for Governor Glasses.

Gotta love fate.

3. In criminal law the "cutthroat defence" is an absolute last gasp, Hail Mary strategy. It never works
