Chris Hayes just brought up a great point about the murder of James Foley

Did you see what he was wearing when he was killed? An orange jumpsuit similar to the one we give prisoners in Guantanamo. Prisoners we are holding indefinitely without trial and due process.

Now it turns out that extremists waterboarded James Foley. The same torture technique made famous by Bush/Cheney:

It truly is hard to understate how much damage Bush/Cheney did to the United States with their torture program.

Or even gives a shit about them. Granted, they may be sending a message but it has nothing to do with 'justice'. Or 'fairness'. Or anything else other than their own fundamentalist goals.

about the ski masks on the perps of these beheadings. They just don't ring "true" to me

How hard would it be to find someone in the U.S. military or intelligence agencies that would

gladly behead someone for thirty pieces of silver and a new bentley in order to keep the terror moving?
