Is the military-industrial crowd throwing all kinds of shit at the wall to see what sticks?

Last edited Sun Aug 31, 2014, 08:17 PM - Edit history (1)

Seriously, demonizing Russia and to a lesser extent China, destabilizing a different Middle East country every week, going back to Iraq, trying to use our destabilization effort in Syria as an excuse to bomb that country...

I kind of expect to hear that Germany has made a secret anti-US pact with Mexico and Great Britain is pressing American sailors into the Royal Navy at sea any day now.

Or possibly a civil war at home or alien invasion.

They will keep going until some shit sticks.

Or are we just the innocent victims of a world coming apart and coming after us?

They don't care whether we believe it or not. They will start some or all of these wars if it benefits the financial interests who call the shots in Washington

Works every time.

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. H.L. Mencken

SAN DIEGO – As Americans enjoy the holiday weekend, law enforcement officers issued warnings that Isis militants are eyeing the US-Mexican border.

The warning comes after more than 30 posts on social media sites Facebook and Twitter by users believed to be Isis militants.

or for that matter, the warnings the Bushies ignored?

Our government has the capability to quietly quash those plots if they choose too.

If they announce them in the press, they have other things in mind besides just preventing them.

Also, what kind of retard announces their terrorist plot on Facebook and Twitter?

If planned a bank robbery on a public discussion board, do you think there's a chance the cops would be waiting for us at the bank? Or that they might gently wake us up the day of the robbery while we are still home in bed and take us to jail instead?

Islamist militias in Libya took control of nearly a dozen commercial jetliners last month, and western intelligence agencies recently issued a warning that the jets could be used in terrorist attacks across North Africa.
