TBS Cancels CeeLo’s Show ‘The Good Life’
Sometimes being a moronic douche has consequences...
TBS is dropping Cee-Lo’s show. According to The Hollywood Reporter the network has decided to cancel his unscripted series The Good Life after one season.
The cancellation comes after the Goodie Mob front man wrote a few controversial tweets about the nature of rape.
“If someone is passed out they’re not even WITH you consciously! So WITH implies consent,” Cee-Lo wrote. “People who have really been raped REMEMBER!!!” he added.
Apologizing and deleting the comments did not stop them from making a permanent mark. Women’s group Ultra Violet petitioned TBS to cancel The Good Life, which ultimately led to the show’s end.
