abolish the death penalty

ive been pro death penalty but ive changed. but enough is enough. its become obvious that the way we sentence people to death in this county is wrong. to many mistakes happen. the death penalty needs to be abolished until we can come up with a system that guarantees its only applied to guilty people. the latest exonerations in north carolina are the straw that broke the camels back in my case. Until the system is fixed it must be abolished.
and if that day never comes then get rid of it for good

Confessions can be coerced. DNA can be planted. Eyewitnesses can be mistaken. Informants can be bribed. Junk science can be trotted out.

Just abolish it.

Otherwise, there will always be innocent people who will be murdered by the State. Our justice system has too many flaws to count to continue to keep capital punishment.
