A columnist for the far-right outlet WorldNetDaily writes today that “the future of civilization itself” depends on a GOP victory in the midterm elections, calling the upcoming elections “the most important in the history of the United States, and of the world.” Lord Christopher Monckton, an outspoken birther and climate denialist, warns that President Obama and his Democratic allies intend to destroy the country by handing over power to the United Nations and imposing a regime that may kill tens of millions of people. “f the ‘Democrats’ get their way, the flickering torch carried by the Statue of Liberty may yet be snuffed out forever,” Monckton writes. “The threat is real – so real that even to vote ‘Democrat’ comes close to being treason.”

The future of civilization itself depends on sane people in government- in all 3 branches. Some republicans might be OK but they are few and far between. There are some insane dems but I'd rather have them then the insane pukes. Of course I am prejudiced by my environment, Gohmert, pRick Perry, Blumenthal(edited that's Blake Farenthold), Carnival Kruz, G.W.Bush- I mean, the list goes on and on.
