Two titans of comedy. Two people that are the standouts of at least a couple generations of entertainment. The world is far less funny and interesting today than it was a month ago.

And both taken away too soon.

And Rivers' energy was so over the top. Never lost its edge, or its fast paced rhythm.

When ever I saw her on TV, I couldn't believe she was in her eighties.

...and see that either Robin or Joan was on the guest line-up, you knew for sure within the hour you'd be laughing out loud and forgetting your troubles.

There are very few entertainers who are a sure bet for laughter the way Robin and Joan were. You are absolutely right, RD: there is considerably less humor in the word now.
